Enhanced Cache Management

Description

Elevating the efficiency of content delivery, our latest enhancement ensures that your website's visitors always engage with the most up-to-date content. This improvement overcomes the traditional browser caching challenges by providing a mechanism to automatically refresh your site's CSS and JavaScript with the latest version.

Key Highlights

  1. Seamless User Experience: Automatically updating file identifiers means there's no longer needs to manually clear browser cache to see updated content.
  2. Consistent Performance: Regular and automatic updates maintain consistent performance and functionality across the website.

  2. Default: This is enabled by default for optimal performance, this feature can be easily disabled via Developer Configurations if necessary

Image Reordering Feature for Child Sites

Description

In our continuous pursuit to provide a more dynamic and user-friendly platform, we're excited to announce the introduction of an image reordering feature for child sites. This new capability empowers content managers or marketers at child sites to customize image sequences for product variations, aligning perfectly with promotional strategies or highlighting the most relevant images first. This enhancement brings child sites on par with master sites, fostering a cohesive and more adaptable user experience.

  2. Seamless Synchronization: Achieve consistency across your master and child sites with the ability to easily sync image orders, or choose to customize them independently for localized strategies.

    1. Sync Order with Master button:

      1. Purpose: Allows child sites with same image sets as their master site to synchronize their image order, ensuring a consistent visual presentation across platforms.
      2. How to Use: If the image sets on the master and child sites are exactly the same, the child site can opt to synchronize with the master site's image order. This ensures that any strategic image placement decided at the master level is uniformly reflected on the child sites.

    2. Updating the Image Order:

      Important

      Please note that, order of images in child site can be synced with master only when the master and child sites have same set of images. Otherwise, the sync button will be disabled to ensure the consistency in master and child site.

      1. Purpose: Provides users the flexibility to manually adjust the order of images for product displays, catering to specific marketing or visual strategies at the child site level.

      2. How to Use:

        1. Selection: Click on an image you wish to reorder. The selected image will be highlighted in blue, indicating it's ready to be moved.
        2. Reordering: Use the arrows located to the right of the highlighted image to move it up or down in the sequence. This action allows for precise control over the visual layout and priority of product images.

Unbound Security Update

Security Level Deletion Issue

Description

We've identified and rectified a issue in the 'unbound-core' release server where users encountered an error message while attempting to delete a security level, preventing its removal. This fix ensures a smoother, error-free management of security levels within Content.

Site Editor with Latest jQuery Version Support

Updating to latest jQuery version is NOT mandatory for any enhancements in the current release or for maintaining existing features. It simply provides an opportunity to leverage the latest jQuery advancements without impacting the Site Editor's reliability.

To ensure the best performance for our users, we have now enabled support for the latest versions of jQuery Core and jQuery UI in SiteEditor. This enhancement not only boosts the functionality and compatibility of the site but also ensures smoother and more efficient interactions.

In our latest update to the Hawksearch Connector, we've significantly improved the efficiency of delete operations by integrating bulk operations. This upgrade streamlines the deletion process, moving away from the one-item-at-a-time approach to a more efficient bulk handling method, thereby enhancing the overall performance and responsiveness of your search operations.

    • Unbound - 7.0.7069
    • Unbound Core - 7.0.713.0 Core
    • .NET framework - 4.6.2
    • .NET framework -4.8 is required if sites are using TLS1.3
  • Unbound Core: NuGet package – 7.0.702.0
