AI Content Assistant

Description

The goal of Unbound has always been to simplify content creation and management processes for users, enhancing their productivity and creative output. We aim to offer an intuitive, smart, and user-friendly experience. The introduction of AI tools aligns perfectly with this goal by adding layers of intelligence and efficiency to content manipulation.

Description

Introducing a new widget on the Content Home page that presents high level SEO information for user’s homepage. Allow user to gain insights at a glance on their homepage's SEO performance, discover areas of improvement, and get a head start in optimizing their SEO.

TinyMCE Upgrade

Description

To ensure our users always benefit from the most advanced features and reliable security, we will be transitioning from TinyMCE 5 to Version 6. Given that TinyMCE 5 already reached its End of Support on April 20, 2023, this upgrade aligns with our commitment to offer the latest solutions for content editing.

Time Indicator for Scheduled Publishing Page

Description

Elevating transparency and control, we now ensures our users are always informed about their content's publishing timeline. Beyond just knowing a page is set for later publication, user can now precisely see when it will go live.

  1. A scheduled publish page should show the publish time’s date and time information in this format: MM/DD/YYYY - time 24-hour time format - Time Zone
    Ex: 08/20/2023 14:00 EST
  2. The schedule time should automatically adapt the time format based on the user's location

CDN Integration for Image Library

Description

To elevate your experience and the speed of content delivery, we've successfully integrated CDN for our Image Library. Not only have we set this up, but we've also diligently performed regression testing on the Image Library to ensure its seamless functioning with the CDN. All issues identified during these tests have been addressed and resolved.

Automatic Image Compression in Image and Product Library

Description

In our continuous effort to optimize your experience, we're introducing an automatic image compression feature set to “Default On” in both the Image and Product Library. Every image you upload will now be automatically compressed to ensure faster load times and optimized performance. While this feature won't apply retroactively, any reuploaded existing images will benefit from this compression enhancement.

To keep pace with your growing content needs, we've fine-tuned the Elastic Search Provider. By optimizing the file indexing process, we've paved the way for quicker, more efficient searches, ensuring you find what you need when you need it.

To provide a more efficient and consistent user experience, we've taken major steps in optimizing our page rendering mechanisms. Introducing the Distributed Page Output Caching feature that decentralizes cache storage, combined with our advanced CDN setup to ensure quicker content delivery.

Description

We're excited to announce an upgrade to the Unbound-Hawksearch connector! In our dedication to streamlining and improving efficiency, the connector will now harness bulk field creation APIs. This means quicker and more efficient field creations for all searchable attributes within Unbound.

  • Hardware Environment Required: Microsoft Windows Servers 2012 R2 or higher - IIS v7 or higher w/ .NET Framework 4.6.2 & SQL database server.
  • Software Environment Required:
    • Unbound - 7.0.7040.0
    • Unbound Core - 7.0.713.0 Core
    • .NET framework - 4.6.2
    • .NET framework -4.8 is required if sites are using TLS1.3
